Last year, our Charity submitted an application to be considered for the Hawaiian Group's Neighbourhood Champions Program. Since then we have been notified that the 2025 nomination process was highly competitive, with a high number of applications received. The submissions covered a wide range of themes, from Poverty Alleviation to Arts & Culture and Environmental initiatives, providing valuable insights into the issues that matter most to our communities.
After an extensive review and voting process, Hawaiian Group announced that Padbury Community Garden Inc. has been chosen as Hawaiian’s Hillarys 2025 runner-up winner for their 2025 community grants program.

Subsequently, PCG have been awarded a grant of $1,000, to further support the important work our Charity undertakes in the community.
We would like to acknowledge and thank Hawaiian Group and Hawaiian Group's Neighbourhood Champions Program for supporting the community via this funding opportunity.
We would also like to pass on our congratulations to our partner Charity, ZaZa's Legacy for being awarded a grant in this program as well.
Thank you to our valued PCG member, and regular volunteer, at the community garden, Dayle, for sharing this funding opportunity with the Committee.
If you find a funding opportunity that fits the Padbury Community Garden Inc. aims and purposes, please share it with the Committee at padburycommunitygarden@gmail.com
