Garden to Plate Program
Padbury Community Garden Inc., together with ZaZa’s Legacy - Choking Prevention Australia Inc, are bringing the ‘Garden to Plate Program’ to the community. The aim of the program is to bring people together at Padbury Community Garden to celebrate the amazing cultures, food and stories that make our community so culturally diverse.
During 2026 and 2027, the program is being generously supported by the Federal Department of Home Affairs and the Office for Multicultural Affairs.

Celebrating Brian's Kenyan Cultural Heritage

What a beautiful celebration of culture, connection and community! 💚 We were honoured to welcome Brian, who shared his Kenyan cultural heritage with us by preparing a traditional Kenyan breakfast for the community. From preparing and sharing food, to stories, music and meaningful conversations, the session gave us a wonderful opportunity to connect through culture and cuisine. 🎶 A special thank you to Seraphim for sharing her moving music and beautiful voice, adding another layer of uniqueness, depth and connection to the morning.
