For all those who live in Padbury, or probably throughout Perth, you’d know the famous Padbury Pharmacy. Originally run by his father, the legendary Alex Litas, Steve runs the place with the same wonderful enthusiasm for community and has inspired the residents to do just the same. Since starting Alex Junior, together with Keiron and their wonderful crew of friendly staff, they have created a brilliant extension to the pharmacy which has provided a welcoming social hub, delicious coffee and healthy food (we just wish you were closer to the community garden to grab our coffees and snacks 🤤).

Time has flown and in December, Alex Junior already celebrated their 8th Birthday!! In true community spirit, each birthday Alex Junior has a big party and all the profits from the day are donated to a local charity. For their 8th birthday, Padbury Community Garden Inc (PCG) were lucky to be selected as the Charity recipients.

PCG would like to express our sincere gratitude to @alexjuniorespresso and @padburypharmacy for donating these profits, which amounted to a generous $2,800!! Our Charity has so many exciting plans in the pipeline for 2026, for the benefit of the community, so donations like these are so valuable in helping enable our vision and work in the community to keep evolving and expanding.

If you or your business/company are looking to donate locally, to benefit the local community, don’t forget that PCG are endorsed by ATO as a deductible gift recipient. Therefore, donations of $2 or greater are tax-deductible 👌🏼
