Garden to Plate - Multicultural Program Series
Last weekend saw the start of our Garden to Plate Program holding a multicultural grassroots initiative, through the support of the Federal Department of Home Affairs and the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
Sunday proved to be a beautiful celebration of culture, connection and community! We were honoured to welcome Brian, who shared his Kenyan cultural heritage with us by preparing a traditional Kenyan breakfast for the community.
From preparing and sharing food, to stories, music and meaningful conversations, the session gave us a wonderful opportunity to connect through culture and cuisine.
A special thank you to Seraphim for sharing her moving music and beautiful voice, adding another layer of uniqueness, depth and connection to the morning.
Take a moment to watch the video below and come with us on our journey as Garden to Plate brings people together through food, culture, stories and community.
As the program progressed, we are looking for more community members who would like to join us in celebrating their culture at the community garden, through sharing their traditional cuisine.

We look forward to having more of the community at the community garden to sharing this program with us as it evolves.
We thank Tom French MP, the Federal Department of Home Affairs and the Office of Multicultural Affairs for their support for this program, and to ZaZa's Legacy for collaborating with us to undertake this program.
