Padbury Community Garden Inc. delivers a range of programs and initiatives designed to reduce isolation and advance mental health within the community. Some of these include:

Fortnightly
Sunday Garden Gatherings
relaxed community gatherings in the community garden that provide a supportive space for people to connect, participate in garden activities, share produce and knowledge, maintain the garden, and build friendships. These gatherings help reduce isolation, promote mental wellbeing, and strengthen a sense of belonging.

Garden to
Kitchen Program
integrated into our Garden Gatherings, this newly developing program offers hands‑on harvesting, cooking, and healthy‑eating experiences for people of all ages, genders, abilities, and cultural backgrounds. It brings back the spirit of traditional community life—sharing knowledge, building intergenerational connections, learning practical food skills together and promoting healthy sustainable eating practices, all in the company of others.
