The idea of creating a community garden in Padbury started from a few local residents who gauged the community's interest in the idea on social media, only to find they weren't the only ones keen for the new adeventure! was founded in June 2021, due to the heart and passion of a few community members. Since then it has grown into something bigger than was ever visualised. Padbury Community Garden Inc. (PCG) is now an Incorporated Association which is an endorsed Deductible Gift Recipient Charity. PCG are working towards reducing isolation and improving mental health of the residents throughout the community and surrounds. In 2024, PCG established the first stage of a community garden in Padbury, enabling much of the Charitable work to take place from this wonderful location.
